West Berkshire Brewery will be at Reading Beer Festival 2014.
Good Old Boy – 4% ABV one of our first brews; a classic, award-winning best bitter.
Maggs’ Magnificent Mild – 3.8% ABV a traditional, southern style dark mild, it has won more awards than any other of our regular beers.
Mr Swift’s Pale Ale – 3.8% ABV straw-coloured and refreshingly light, fragrantly hoppy and extremely drinkable.
Full Circle – 4.5% ABV originally created by the brewery co-founder, Dave Maggs, to celebrate our thousandth brew.
Dr Hexter’s Healer – 5% ABV amber coloured, highly hopped beer. Champion Strong Beer of Britain 2009, this full-flavoured, strong bitter is packed with character.
Jargogle – 4.3% ABV made with Fuggles and Northdown hops, with a delicious malt flavour is named after the lost English word ‘jargogle’.
Jargogle is our monthly special beer named after the lost English word ‘jargogle’ meaning to confuse or jumble. A dark red/brown porter with a deep roasted malt flavour, faint coffee notes and a moderate bitterness balanced with slight sweetness.
With Reading Beer Festival celebrating its 20th year (and us having attended 18 of those) it’s great to see how it has grown. Here’s to the next 20!
