CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this month and the three Berkshire branches of CAMRA (West Berkshire, East Berkshire and Reading) asked us to brew a special ale for them to celebrate. This has been called WB-40 and is a 4% ruby beer brewed with local hops from Berkshire Hops, at Kingston Bagpuize, the only local hop-garden, which although now in Oxfordshire, used to be in Berkshire before the boundary changes.
