Where & When

  • March 31
  • 19:30pm - 23:00pm

The Bacuma Boys band was formed at the West Berkshire Brewery in 2003 by directors Dave Maggs and Andy Baum plus local thespian legend, drayman and brewer Howard Cudby.  Howard left the band and the brewery in 2009 to be replaced by Mr Chubbs fans Max ‘70s rock star’ Hunt (accordion, keyboards and balalaika, if needs must) and the excellent Richard Cox-Smith (vocals, guitar, dobro).  Howard Cudby sadly passed away in 2011 and Max is sadly departing the UK in 2018. The band rehearsed at the brewery, recorded a CD live in  the brewery shop, performed at several Good Old Boys events and is now bowing out in the fabulous new brewery.

Their music varies from blues and jazz to western swing and some traditional and contemporary folk, plus the odd novelty number and one or two lesser known chart hits, mainly from 1927.

Tickets are just £12 and are available from our brewery shop, Yattendon Stores or please email randssansom@aol.com

Please note that this is a ticketed event and we will be closed to the general public from 6pm
