Sales Administrator

This is an exciting phase of the Company’s development and the company is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to assist the sales team to grow both the On Trade and Off Trade business.

You will be joining an entrepreneurial team who are passionate about their business and about their products and work hard for one another.

Location:            Office Based

Reports to:        On Trade Sales Controller

Direct Reports: None

Contract:            Full Time Mon – Fri, 9 – 5pm including lunch and flexibility required to fulfil role demands and support wider WBB team

Purpose of role:              To support the On Trade Sales Controller by driving the volume sales for the company with daily contact with customers; to raise brand profile and awareness with customers and consumers.

 

Key Role activities / Responsibilities

Inbound Calls: Ensure existing customers are called on a weekly basis to take orders and encourage additional sales. Manage customer service calls and follow up on sales enquiries, liaising with other departments to ensure matters are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.

Outbound Calls: Manage your time to actively call lapsed and new customers and source leads for the sales team. Use the company system (Brewman or equivalent) to analyse customers buying patterns and encourage them to buy lapsed products.

Have an understanding of the company portfolio and be able to talk to customers about the WBB range, analysing and recommending what product would suit their outlet requirements.

Maximise the companies profitability by ensuring orders are placed with customers with the correct pricing. Liaise with the Accounts Department for any invoice queries or credit issues fed in from customers or the Sales team.

Work with the Distribution Manager to ensure delivery routes are maximised daily.

Proactively create and design Mail Merges for customers to encourage additional sales, working with the sales team and the Marketing department on monthly content.

Be prepared to travel and attend events, if required, to represent the company in front of customers and consumers, alongside the Sales team.

Be a Brand Ambassador for WBB in front of customers, either on the phone or face to face.

Be aware of and feed back to the On Trade Sales Controller trends/comments from customers feedback, either for WBB or competitors.

You will be:

o   Experienced in telesales, inbound and outbound

o   Have good communication skills with the ability to speak to others within the business, dealing with queries from external parties e.g. customers and buyers

o   Flexible in your approach to managing your workload around busy periods and key deadlines;

Salary and benefits:

Salary: £21000 – £24000 depending on experience
