The cooler winds are beginning to blow, marking the end of harvest and the beginning of winter. For the first few weeks of November the autumnal riot of colour is at its best until the leaves begin to fall and we’re rewarded with white snowberries, purple sloes, rich red rosehips & hawthorn against bare twigs. If you’re walking near the brewery look out for catkins, bunches of sycamore seeds and holly. Taking the cue from our environment, this months special Doctor Hexter’s Healer is amber coloured, full-bodied and robust.
